Travel from Hilo on Highway #11 to Volcano; 40 minutes driving time. After the 26 mile marker turn right onto Pearl Avenue and proceed a short distance to the stop sign. At the stop sign turn right onto Old Volcano Road. Our drive way is the first one on the left with an address of 19-3870 Old Volcano Road and sign indicating Aloha Place- Inn of Volcano. | | Transportation | It is necessary to obtain a rental car (there is no "public" transportation). A taxi is expensive, approximately $150 oneway from the airport. | | Airport | Hilo International- 40 minutes via private car. |

Conveniently located just minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park offering FREE use of flashlights, rain jackets, backpacks, coolers and so much more for your lava viewing enjoyment.
We are a "Guesthouse Accommodation" hence you will be a "guest" under our roof free to come and go as you please. You will be welcome to walk our beautifully landscaped grounds where you will find Anthuriums, Birds of Paradise and Orchids.
At the ranch you can enjoy our chickens, ducks, Guinea hens, cows and horses. There is something for everyone whether you wish to visit the farm, the volcano or just relax with your favorite book in front of the fireplace. We take pride in being a Green Lodging option and are as self sufficient as possible.
We raise our own farm raised catfish, chickens for both eggs and meat, cows for milk and butter, cattle for meat, and our only source of water is that from the rainfall (thanks to the rainforest!). The garden has plenty of organic fertilizer and provides us with lettuce, tomatoes, swiss chard, beets, carrots, spinach, zucchini, and green beans. | Local Attractions

Reservation Policy - All reservations are confirmed with a deposit equal to 100% of your stay payable by Credit Card. Reservations confirmed within 14 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. Should there be a need to change dates on your reservation, we ask that these be done by email or FAX your changes to (808) 985-9239. Any changes will incur a $20.00 service fee. All date changes are subject to availability with accommodation and length of stay valid for the duration of the reservation. If a change in accommodation is necessary additional charges may apply for an upgrade. Aloha Place- Inn of Volcano reserves the right to provide guests an equal or superior quality accommodation, without notice, for one night reservations.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations prior to 30 days of the arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 29 to 15 days prior to the arrival date will receive a 50% refund less a $25 re-booking fee. All other cancellations, NO SHOWS, and early departures will be charged the entire amount of stay without exceptions |
